Even as senior BJP leaders repeatedly insist that the party will contest the 2027 Punjab elections on its own and needs no alliance, the same clarification keeps resurfacing almost every few weeks. If the party is truly confident of going solo, why does it feel the need to repeatedly deny alliance speculation ? And if the BJP is fully prepared to fight independently, why hasn't it begun announcing candidates and building constituency-level momentum instead of relying largely on political messaging ?

Proposals - SUNLO

A) A confident party should now shift from alliance statements to declaring candidates and strengthening its grassroots campaign.

B) Repeatedly denying alliance speculation only fuels the perception that the BJP is keeping all political options open.

C) Candidate selection should come at the right time, early announcements are not always electorally beneficial.

D) Punjab's voters will judge parties by organisational preparedness and leadership on the ground, not by repeated political declarations.

ਭਾਵੇਂ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੇ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਆਗੂ ਵਾਰ-ਵਾਰ ਇਹ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਪਾਰਟੀ 2027 ਦੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਮ 'ਤੇ ਲੜੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਗੱਠਜੋੜ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਨਹੀਂ, ਫਿਰ ਵੀ ਕੁਝ ਹਫ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਗੱਠਜੋੜ ਦੀਆਂ ਚਰਚਾਵਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਸਫ਼ਾਈ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਕਿਉਂ ਪੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ ? ਜੇ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਸੱਚਮੁੱਚ ਇਕੱਲੇ ਚੋਣ ਲੜਨ ਲਈ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤਿਆਰ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਫਿਰ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕਰਕੇ ਜ਼ਮੀਨੀ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੀ ? ਕੀ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਬਿਆਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਜਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਜਾ ਸੱਕਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ?

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਦੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਖੁਸ਼ਹਾਲ ਸੂਬਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ। ਅੱਜ ਵੱਧਦਾ ਕਰਜ਼ਾ, ਘੱਟਦੀ ਵਿੱਤੀ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ, ਉਦਯੋਗਿਕ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਿਰਾਵਟ, ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਲਾਇਨ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਧਦਾ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਧਰੁਵੀਕਰਨ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਬਣਦੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ ਲਗਭਗ ਹਰ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਔਖੇ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਸੁਧਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਥਾਂ ਮੁਫ਼ਤ ਸਕੀਮਾਂ, ਸਬਸਿਡੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਪ੍ਰਿਯ ਵਾਅਦਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਰੁੱਝੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਅਜਿਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡਾ ਸਵਾਲ ਇਹ ਹੈ: ਕੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੂੰ ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਸੋਖੇ ਵਾਅਦੇ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਇਕ ਹੋਰ ਸਿਆਸਤਦਾਨ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਫਿਰ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਰਾਜਨੇਤਾ ਦੀ ਜੋ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਲੰਮੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੇ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਲਈ ਔਖੇ ਅਤੇ ਗੈਰ- ਲੋਕਪ੍ਰਿਯ ਫ਼ੈਸਲੇ ਲੈਣ ਦਾ ਹੌਸਲਾ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੋਵੇ ? ਕੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਸਿਆਸਤ ਅਗਲੀ ਚੋਣ ਜਿੱਤਣ ਤੋਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਵੱਧ ਕੇ ਅਗਲੀ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਬਾਰੇ ਵੀ ਸੋਚੇਗੀ ?
