ਪਿਛਲੇ ਕਈ ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਧਿਰ ਦੇ ਨੇਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਜਵਾ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਸਰਗਰਮੀ ਦਾ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਕਾਦੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਣਾਈ ਬੈਠੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਹ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਬੈਠਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਜਨ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਇੱਕ ਸੰਭਾਵੀ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਚਿਹਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਬੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਦੀ ਮੁੱਖ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਨਾਤੇ ਵੱਡਾ ਸਵਾਲ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕੀ ਉਹ ਪੂਰੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਪਾਰੀ ਖੇਡ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਜਾਂ ਸਿਰਫ ਆਪਣਾ ਹੀ ਹਲਕਾ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੱਗੇ ਹਨ। ਕੀ ਬਾਜਵਾ ਕਾਦੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਅਧਾਰ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਸਾਰਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਉੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਕੇਂਦਰਿਤ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਜਾਂ ਇਹ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਤਵੱਜੋ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਦਾ ਸੰਕੇਤ ਹੈ ਕਿ 2027 ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੀ ਦੌੜ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਘਰ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਪੱਕੀ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਰੁੱਝੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ ?

ਖੇਤੀ ਕਾਨੂੰਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਭਾਜਪਾ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣਾ ਜਨ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਤੇਜ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਨੇਤਾ ਹੁਣ ਪੱਗ ਬੰਨ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਜੁੜਾਅ ਦਿਖਾ ਕੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਮੁੜ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਪਾਰਟੀ ਇਸਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਚਾਣ ਦਾ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਦੱਸ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਵੱਡਾ ਸਵਾਲ ਭਰੋਸੇ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕਾਤਮਕ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਰਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਅੰਦੋਲਨ ਦੀ ਗਹਿਰੀ ਛਾਪ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਉੱਥੇ ਇਹ ਚਰਚਾ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕੀ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਕਦਮ ਜ਼ਮੀਨੀ ਸੋਚ ਨੂੰ ਬਦਲ ਸਕਣਗੇ। ਕੀ ਪੱਗ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਮੁੜ ਜਿੱਤ ਸਕੇਗੀ ਜਾਂ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਖੇਤੀ ਕਾਨੂੰਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਰੋਸੇ ਦੀ ਤੋੜ ਵਜੋਂ ਦੇਖਦੇ ਹਨ ਜਿਸਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਭੁਲਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ?

After the farm laws agitation and its political fallout, the BJP has stepped up its outreach in Punjab, with leaders increasingly seen wearing the pagri and projecting cultural connect with the state. While the party presents this as respect for Punjab’s identity and an effort to rebuild bridges with farmers, the deeper political question remains about trust versus symbolism. In a state where the farm protests left a lasting impact, the issue is whether gestures and optics can change ground sentiment. Can the BJP rebuild farmers’ trust by embracing the pagri and cultural symbolism or do Punjab’s farmers still see the farm laws episode as a breach of trust that optics alone cannot repair ?

कृषि कानूनों के विरोध और उसके राजनीतिक प्रभाव के बाद, भाजपा ने पंजाब में अपना जनसंपर्क बढ़ाया है। पार्टी नेता अब पगड़ी पहनकर और सांस्कृतिक जुड़ाव दिखाकर किसानों और राज्य के लोगों के साथ संबंध सुधारने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं। पार्टी इसे पंजाब की पहचान के सम्मान और भरोसा दोबारा बनाने का प्रयास बता रही है। लेकिन बड़ा सवाल भरोसे और प्रतीकात्मक राजनीति के बीच का है। जिस राज्य में किसान आंदोलन की गहरी छाप रही है, वहां यह बहस जारी है कि क्या ऐसे कदम जमीनी भावनाओं को बदल पाएंगे। क्या पगड़ी और सांस्कृतिक प्रतीकों के जरिए भाजपा किसानों का भरोसा फिर से जीत पाएगी या किसान अभी भी कृषि कानूनों को विश्वासघात के रूप में ही देखते हैं जिसे केवल प्रतीकों से नहीं भुलाया जा सकता ?

ਆਪ ਆਗੂ ਮਨੀਸ਼ ਸਿਸੋਦੀਆ ਨੇ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਤਹਿਤ 13,000 ਪਿੰਡ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਮੇਟੀਆਂ (Village Defence Committees) ਅਤੇ ਕਰੀਬ 1.3 ਲੱਖ ਸਵੈਸੇਵਕ ਸਰਗਰਮ ਹਨ। ਅੰਕੜਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਅਸਲ ਸਵਾਲ ਪਾਰਦਰਸ਼ਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜੇਕਰ ਐਨੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਸਵੈਸੇਵਕ ਦਲ ਵਾਸਤਵ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਕੋਈ ਜਨਤਕ ਸੂਚੀ, ਪਹਿਚਾਣ ਜਾਂ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪੱਧਰ ਦੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਈ ? ਅਤੇ ਜੇ ਇਹ ਰਾਜ ਦੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਪਹਲ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਔਪਚਾਰਿਕ ਘੋਸ਼ਣਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ, ਸਗੋਂ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਹੀ ਕਿਉਂ ਆ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ? ਕੀ 1.3 ਲੱਖ ਪਿੰਡ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਮੇਟੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਹਕੀਕਤੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨੀ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਸੁਨੇਹਾ ?

AAP leader Manish Sisodia has claimed that 13,000 Village Defence Committees with nearly 1.3 Lakhs volunteers are active in Punjab’s anti-drug campaign. The number sounds massive, but the key question is visibility and official accountability. If such a large volunteer force really exists, why are there no public lists, IDs or district-level details ? And if this is a major state initiative, why hasn’t Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann announced it formally instead of the figure appearing through political social media posts ? Is the claim of 1.3 lakh VDC members real ground mobilisation or just a big number for political messaging ?
