As the Punjab Government announces yet another SIT into the sacrilege cases, Shiromani Akali Dal leader Parambans Singh Romana has accused the AAP Government of politicising one of Punjab's most sensitive issues instead of ensuring justice. Years have passed, Governments have changed and investigations have been reconstituted, yet closure remains elusive. This raises a larger question: Has the sacrilege issue become more about political narratives than delivering justice ? When every election brings fresh promises and every Government forms a new SIT, is Punjab moving closer to the truth, or merely reopening old wounds ?

A) Every Government has a moral responsibility to pursue justice, even if that requires fresh investigations.

B) Repeated SITs without visible closure risk turning a sacred issue into a recurring political spectacle.

C) Justice delayed in matters of faith weakens public trust more than political rhetoric can restore it.

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਬੇਅਦਬੀ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਲਈ ਇਕ ਵਾਰ ਫਿਰ ਨਵੀਂ ਐੱਸ.ਆਈ.ਟੀ. ਬਣਾਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਪਰਮਬੰਸ ਸਿੰਘ ਰੋਮਾਣਾ ਨੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਸੰਵੇਦਨਸ਼ੀਲ ਮੁੱਦਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇਕ ਦਾ ਸਿਆਸੀਕਰਨ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਸਾਲ ਬੀਤ ਗਏ, ਸਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਬਦਲੀਆਂ, ਜਾਂਚ ਏਜੰਸੀਆਂ ਬਦਲੀਆਂ, ਪਰ ਅੱਜ ਵੀ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਦੀ ਉਡੀਕ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ। ਅਜਿਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡਾ ਸਵਾਲ ਇਹ ਹੈ: ਕੀ ਬੇਅਦਬੀ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਦਾ ਹੁਣ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਦਿਵਾਉਣ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਬਿਰਤਾਂਤ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਸਾਧਨ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ? ਜਦੋਂ ਹਰ ਚੋਣ ਨਾਲ ਨਵੇਂ ਵਾਅਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਨਵੀਂ ਐੱਸ.ਆਈ.ਟੀ. ਬਣਦੀ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਕੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸੱਚ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਫਿਰ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮ ਹੀ ਮੁੜ-ਮੁੜ ਹਰੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ?
