With the Congress battling internal rebellion, the BJP expanding aggressively, and the Shiromani Akali Dal still trying to regain lost ground, Punjab's political landscape is more fragmented than ever. Amid growing efforts to bring together Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar), Shiromani Akali Dal (Punar Surjit), Akali Dal (Waris Punjab De), Akali Dal (United) and other Panthic groups, a bigger question arises: Could a Panthic Mega Alliance become the dark horse of the 2027 elections by uniting a scattered vote bank ? Or will leadership ambitions, the Chief Ministerial face, seat-sharing disputes and old rivalries once again ensure that Panthic unity remains a dream rather than a decisive political force ?

A) A united Panthic alliance could reshape Punjab politics by consolidating a divided regional vote.

B) Without a common leader, clear strategy and organisational discipline, even a grand alliance may fail to inspire voters.

C) The current political vacuum offers regional parties their best opportunity in years to emerge as a credible alternative. 

D) Emotional appeals may bring parties together, but only unity on the ground can translate into electoral victories.

ਇਕ ਪਾਸੇ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਅੰਦਰੂਨੀ ਬਗਾਵਤ ਨਾਲ ਜੂਝ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਦੂਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣਾ ਆਧਾਰ ਵੱਧਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਆਪਣਾ ਗੁਆਇਆ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਆਧਾਰ ਮੁੜ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦਰਮਿਆਨ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ (ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ), ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ (ਪੁਨਰ ਸੁਰਜੀਤ), ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ (ਵਾਰਿਸ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ), ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ (ਯੂਨਾਈਟਡ) ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਪੰਥਕ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕ ਮੰਚ 'ਤੇ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ਾਂ ਤੇਜ਼ ਹੋ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਵੱਡਾ ਸਵਾਲ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕੀ ਇਹ ਵੱਡਾ ਪੰਥਕ ਗੱਠਜੋੜ ਖਿੰਡੇ ਹੋਏ ਪੰਥਕ ਵੋਟਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰਕੇ 2027 ਦੀਆਂ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ 'ਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਪਲਟਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਗੱਠਜੋੜ' ਬਣ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ? ਜਾਂ ਫਿਰ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੇ ਚਿਹਰੇ ਦੀ ਦੌੜ, ਸੀਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਵੰਡ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਰਾਣੀਆਂ ਰੰਜਿਸ਼ਾਂ ਇਕ ਵਾਰ ਫਿਰ ਪੰਥਕ ਏਕਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇਕ ਸੁਪਨਾ ਹੀ ਬਣਾ ਦੇਣਗੀਆਂ ?
