ਜਦੋਂ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ‘ਤੇ ਮਿਹਣੇ ਮਾਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੇ ਚਿਹਰੇ ਵੱਧ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਜ਼ਮੀਨੀ ਵਰਕਰ ਘੱਟ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜਾ ਵੜਿੰਗ ਤੋਂ ਜਦੋਂ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਬਣਨ ਦੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ “ਕੌਣ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਣਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ,” ਤਾਂ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਅੰਦਰੂਨੀ ਤਰਜੀਹਾਂ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਜੋ ਗੱਲ ਉੱਪਰੋਂ ਆਤਮਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਲੱਗਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਅੰਦਰੂਨੀ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਦਾ ਸੰਕੇਤ ਵੀ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ। ਜਦੋਂ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਤਾਕਤ ਸੰਗਠਨ, ਏਕਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ਮੀਨੀ ਪੱਧਰ ‘ਤੇ ਨਿਰਭਰ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਕੀ ਵੱਧ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਰਤਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਇੱਛਾਵਾਂ ਸਿਹਤਮੰਦ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਾ ਹਨ ਜਾਂ ਇਹ ਦਿਖਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਧਿਆਨ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਅਹੁਦਿਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ? ਜੇ ਕਈ ਨੇਤਾ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਦੇ ਸਿਖਰ ਦੇ ਅਹੁਦੇ ਵੱਲ ਦੇਖ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਤਾਂ ਕੀ ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਵਿਕਲਪ ਵਜੋਂ ਖੜ੍ਹਨ ਦੀ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ? ਕੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਇੱਕ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਵੱਲ ਵੱਧ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਇੱਛਾਵਾਂ ਸੰਗਠਨ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਅੱਗੇ ਵੱਧ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਸਵਾਲ ਖੜਾ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕੀ ਅੰਦਰੂਨੀ ਤਰਜੀਹਾਂ ਜ਼ਮੀਨੀ ਹਕੀਕਤ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ?
