जब पंजाब के मुख्यमंत्री SGPC अध्यक्ष को शिरोमणि अकाली दल के साथ खुलकर खड़े होने पर निशाना बना रहे हैं, तब हरजिंदर सिंह धामी का यह कहना कि वह “सुखबीर सिंह बादल के सिपाही होने पर गर्व महसूस करते हैं” एक पुरानी पंथक सच्चाई को फिर सामने ले आता है। पंथ रतन गुरचरण सिंह टोहड़ा और प्रकाश सिंह बादल के दौर से ही सिख संस्थाएं और अकाली नेतृत्व साथ-साथ चलते आए हैं, टकराव में नहीं। तो क्या आज की यह आलोचना सच में SGPC की पवित्रता बचाने की चिंता है या फिर उस अकाली-पंथक रिश्ते को कमजोर करने की कोशिश, जिसने दशकों तक सिख राजनीति को दिशा दी है ?
