Yet tragedies like this force a painful question, if the war is real, why are families still losing everything before help reaches them ? Is 'Yudh Nashe Virudh' protecting Punjab’s youth or has it remained a campaign of words while the crisis continues on the ground ? ਜਦੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਮਾਂ ਕਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਸਨੇ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਛੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਗਵਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ, ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਹਰ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਦਾਅਵੇ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਦਰਦਨਾਕ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ 'ਯੁੱਧ ਨਸ਼ੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ' ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਪੂਰੀ ਜੰਗ ਵਜੋਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਪੀੜਤ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਹਤ ਦੇ ਵਾਅਦੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਪਰ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਘਟਨਾਵਾਂ ਇੱਕ ਕੌੜਾ ਸਵਾਲ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਜੇ ਜੰਗ ਸੱਚਮੁੱਚ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਮਦਦ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਕਿਉਂ ਗਵਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ? ਕੀ ‘ਯੁੱਧ ਨਸ਼ੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ’ ਸਚਮੁੱਚ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਇਹ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਬਿਆਨਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਹੀ ਸੀਮਿਤ ਰਹਿ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ? ਕੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨਸ਼ੇ ਦੀ ਲੜੀ ਤੋੜ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਹੀ ਹਰਕਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ?
