BJP is preparing to make unemployment and youth concerns part of its Punjab campaign. But raising the issue is easier than convincing young voters that the party has a Punjab-specific plan for jobs, skills, industry and migration. With 2027 approaching, can BJP turn its youth campaign into a genuine political connection with Punjab’s young voters or will “jobs” remain another election talking point ?
भाजपा पंजाब में बेरोज़गारी और युवाओं से जुड़े मुद्दों को अपने चुनावी अभियान का हिस्सा बनाने की तैयारी कर रही है। लेकिन मुद्दा उठाना आसान है; युवा मतदाताओं को यह भरोसा दिलाना कठिन है कि पार्टी के पास पंजाब के लिए रोज़गार, कौशल, उद्योग और पलायन पर ठोस योजना है। 2027 के चुनाव नज़दीक हैं। क्या भाजपा युवाओं के मुद्दे को पंजाब के युवा मतदाताओं से वास्तविक राजनीतिक जुड़ाव में बदल पाएगी या “रोज़गार” एक और चुनावी मुद्दा बनकर रह जाएगा ?
The BJP is expanding its Punjab footprint by bringing in established leaders and members of political families from the Congress, Shiromani Akali Dal and other political camps. These leaders bring political networks, local contacts and years of experience. But there is a sharper political contradiction: a party preparing to contest all 117 seats on its own strength is still relying heavily on leaders whose political networks were built under other parties. Is BJP building an independent political force in Punjab or using borrowed political capital to build one ? And if the party already has to borrow political families, how strong is its own Punjab leadership really ?
भाजपा पंजाब में अपना राजनीतिक आधार बढ़ाने के लिए कांग्रेस, शिरोमणि अकाली दल और दूसरे राजनीतिक खेमों से जुड़े स्थापित नेताओं और राजनीतिक परिवारों के सदस्यों को अपने साथ ला रही है। ये नेता अपने साथ राजनीतिक नेटवर्क, स्थानीय संपर्क और वर्षों का अनुभव लेकर आते हैं। लेकिन यहां एक बड़ा राजनीतिक विरोधाभास है: 117 सीटों पर अपने दम पर चुनाव लड़ने की तैयारी कर रही भाजपा अब भी उन नेताओं के राजनीतिक नेटवर्क पर काफी निर्भर है, जो दूसरी पार्टियों में बने हैं। क्या भाजपा पंजाब में अपनी स्वतंत्र राजनीतिक ताकत खड़ी कर रही है या दूसरी पार्टियों से मिले राजनीतिक प्रभाव के सहारे अपना आधार बना रही है ? और अगर पार्टी को राजनीतिक परिवारों का सहारा लेना पड़ रहा है, तो पंजाब में उसका अपना नेतृत्व कितना मजबूत है ?
