Congress is reportedly trying to reconnect with former Punjab leaders as it prepares for the 2027 elections. But this raises a sharper question about the party’s existing leadership. If Congress already has senior leaders, district heads, youth leaders and long-time workers, why does the party keep looking towards leaders who have already left ?
