ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੇ ਕੌਮੀ ਉਪ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਵਜੋਂ ਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਦਲ ਦੀ ਨਿਯੁਕਤੀ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕ ਵਾਰ ਫਿਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਸਿਆਸਤ ਦੇ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਆ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਵੱਡੀਆਂ ਚੋਣ ਨਾਕਾਮੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਭਰਿਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। 2022 ਵਿੱਚ ਬਠਿੰਡਾ ਅਰਬਨ ਤੋਂ ਹਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ 2024 ਦੀ ਗਿੱਦੜਬਾਹਾ ਜ਼ਿਮਨੀ ਚੋਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਤੀਜੇ ਸਥਾਨ ’ਤੇ ਰਹੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਮਾਨਤ ਵੀ ਜ਼ਬਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ। ਹੁਣ ਜਦੋਂ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਲੜਾਈ ਦੀ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨੇ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਆਗੂ ਨੂੰ ਅਹਿਮ ਕੌਮੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਕੋਲ ਬਾਦਲ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦਾ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਨਾਮ, ਦਹਾਕਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਤਜਰਬਾ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਲਵਾ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਪਕੜ ਹੈ। ਕੀ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇਕ ਤਜਰਬੇਕਾਰ ਆਗੂ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗੇ ਲਿਆ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਦਲ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗੇ ਕਰਨ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਕੋਈ ਵੱਡੀ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਰਣਨੀਤੀ ਹੈ ? ਭਾਜਪਾ ਆਖਿਰ ਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਦਲ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਕੀ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ?
