ਸੁਸ਼ੀਲ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਰਿੰਕੂ ਦਾ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਸਫਰ ਕਈ ਵਾਰ ਵਿਚਾਰਧਾਰਾ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ “ਪਾਰਟੀ ਬਦਲੋ ਐਕਸਪ੍ਰੈਸ” ਵਰਗਾ ਲੱਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਤੋਂ ਆਪ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਤੱਕ, ਕੁਝ ਹੀ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡੇ ਉਤਾਰ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਰੀ ਹਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ। ਇਕ ਸਮੇਂ ਉਹ ਆਪ ਦੇ ਸਰਪ੍ਰਾਈਜ਼ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਉਪ-ਚੋਣ ਹੀਰੋ ਬਣੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾਇਆ, ਅਤੇ ਅਗਲੇ ਹੀ ਪਲ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਚਰਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਚੰਨੀ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਹਾਰ ਖਾ ਬੈਠੇ। ਸਮਰਥਕ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਅਨੁਕੂਲ ਨੇਤਾ ਦੱਸਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਆਲੋਚਕ ਮਜ਼ਾਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਰਿੰਕੂ ਏਨੀ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਪਾਰਟੀਆਂ ਬਦਲਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਵੋਟਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਯਾਦ ਤਾਜ਼ਾ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਸਮਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਦਾ। ਹੁਣ ਅਸਲੀ ਬਹਿਸ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕੀ ਸੁਸ਼ੀਲ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਰਿੰਕੂ ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਬਚਾਅ ਦੀ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਵਾਲੇ ਨੇਤਾ ਹਨ, ਜਾਂ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਪਾਰਟੀਆਂ ਬਦਲਣ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਭਰੋਸੇਯੋਗ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਮੌਕਾਪਰਸਤ ਦਿੱਖਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਈ ਹੈ ?
