ਕੁੰਵਰ ਵਿਜੇ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਕਦੇ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕ ਨਿਡਰ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਫਸਰ ਦੀ ਛਵੀ ਨਾਲ ਆਏ ਸਨ, ਜੋ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹੇ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਨਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੁਣੌਤੀ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਸਿਸਟਮ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਸਾਫ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਨਾ ਸਮਝੌਤੇ ਵਾਲੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਵਜੋਂ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ। ਪਰ ਆਪ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਤਣਾਅ, ਜਨਤਕ ਅਸਹਿਮਤੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਲੀਡਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧਦੀ ਦੂਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਹੁਣ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਣ ਦੀਆਂ ਚਰਚਾਵਾਂ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਤੇਜ਼ ਹੋ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਸਮਰਥਕ ਅੱਜ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਮਾਨਦਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਜਜ਼ਬਾਤੀ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਨੇਤਾ ਮੰਨਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਆਲੋਚਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਵਰਦੀ ਛੱਡਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਸਫਰ ਹੁਣ ਉਸ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਵਾਂਗ ਲੱਗਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਸਹੀ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਠਿਕਾਣਾ ਲੱਭਣ ਲਈ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਹੁਣ ਵੱਡਾ ਸਵਾਲ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕੀ ਕੁੰਵਰ ਵਿਜੇ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਆਖ਼ਿਰਕਾਰ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਣਗੇ, ਜਾਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਇਕ ਹੋਰ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਨੇਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ “ਸਿਸਟਮ ਨੂੰ ਚੁਣੌਤੀ ਦੇਣ” ਵਾਲੀ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਹੌਲੀ ਹੌਲੀ “ਸਿਸਟਮ ਨਾਲ ਸਮਝੌਤਾ” ਵਾਲੀ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਵੱਲ ਵੱਧ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ?
