ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਈ.ਵੀ.ਐਮ. ਦੀ ਥਾਂ ਬੈਲਟ ਪੇਪਰ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਵੋਟਿੰਗ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਫ਼ੈਸਲੇ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਨੇ ਹੁਣ ਵੱਡੀ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਚਰਚਾ ਛੇੜ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਮਸਲਾ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਦਿਲਚਸਪ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਪਾਰਟੀਆਂ ਅਕਸਰ ਸੱਤਾ ਜਾਂ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਹਿਸਾਬ ਨਾਲ ਈ.ਵੀ.ਐਮ. ਬਾਰੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਰੁਖ ਬਦਲਦੀਆਂ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਪੱਧਰ ‘ਤੇ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਈ.ਵੀ.ਐਮ. ਦਾ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਕਰਦੀ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹੀ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਬੈਲਟ ਪੇਪਰ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਚੋਣ ਗੜਬੜ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾ ਜਤਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਅਜਿਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀ ਚੋਣ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀ ‘ਤੇ ਇਹ ਬਹਿਸ ਹੁਣ ਤਕਨੀਕ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਭਰੋਸੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਹੂਲਤ ਦੀ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਬਣਦੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ?
