ਦਲ-ਬਦਲਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਨੇਤਾ ਅਕਸਰ ਨਵੀਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਦੀ ਉਮੀਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਕਈ ਵਾਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਘਰ ਤੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਠਿਕਾਣੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਹੀ ਅਟਕਾ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਪਰਮਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਢੀਂਡਸਾ ਦੀ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਵੀ ਕੁਝ ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਿਖਦੀ ਹੈ, ਕਦੇ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਦਾ ਅਨੁਭਵੀ ਚਿਹਰਾ, ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਵਿਭਾਗਾਂ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਈ ਵਾਰ ਜਿੱਤ, ਪਰ ਮੂਲ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਤੋਂ ਟੁੱਟ ਕੇ ਬਾਗ਼ੀ ਖੇਮੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਣਾ, ਨਵੀਂ ਰਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਦਲਿਆ। ਲਹਿਰਾ ਤੋਂ 2022 ਵਿੱਚ ਹਾਰ ਹੋਣ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਇਹ ਹੋਰ ਸਪਸ਼ਟ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਐਸੀ ਧਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਸੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਸ਼ੋਰ ਤਾਂ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਘੱਟ, ਤੇ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਮੌਜੂਦਗੀ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਗਿਕਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਣਦੀ। ਕੀ ਇਹ ਬਗਾਵਤ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਵੀਂ ਪਹਿਚਾਣ ਦੇ ਸਕੀ ਜਾਂ ਉਹ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਅਧਾਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਹੀ ਅਟਕ ਗਏ ਹਨ ?
