With AAP dominant and Congress–Akali locked in familiar battles, BJP’s silence has been as noticeable as its ambition to expand in Punjab. As 2027 approaches, does Shutrana finally see BJP step onto the ballot with Narsot as its face or does his role remain limited to groundwork without a real electoral push ? ਨਾਰਾਇਣ ਸਿੰਘ ਨਰਸੋਤ ਸ਼ੁਤਰਾਣਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੇ ਇੰਚਾਰਜ ਵਜੋਂ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਜਦਕਿ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਥੇ ਚੋਣ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਗਾਇਬ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਇੱਕ ਪਾਸੇ ‘ਆਪ’ ਦੀ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤੀ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ-ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦੀ ਜਾਣੀ-ਪਛਾਣੀ ਟੱਕਰ, ਇਸ ਦਰਮਿਆਨ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੀ ਖਾਮੋਸ਼ੀ ਵੀ ਉਨੀ ਹੀ ਚਰਚਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ ਜਿੰਨੀ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਫੈਲਾਅ ਦੀ ਇੱਛਾ। 2027 ਨੇੜੇ ਆਉਂਦਿਆਂ ਸਵਾਲ ਹੈ, ਕੀ ਸ਼ੁਤਰਾਣਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਨਰਸੋਤ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਚਿਹਰਾ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਚੋਣ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਤਰੇਗੀ ਜਾਂ ਫਿਰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਸੰਗਠਨ ਤੱਕ ਹੀ ਰਹੇਗੀ ? ਅਤੇ ਜੇ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਇੰਝ ਹੀ ਉਡੀਕ ਕਰਦੀ ਰਹੀ, ਤਾਂ ਕੀ ਇਹ ਗੈਰ-ਹਾਜ਼ਰੀ ਹੌਲੀ-ਹੌਲੀ ਗੈਰ-ਅਹਿਮੀਅਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਦਲ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ?
