ਜਦੋਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਅਤੇ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰ ਫਿਰ ਦਹਾਕਿਆਂ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਸਤਲੁਜ ਯਮੁਨਾ ਲਿੰਕ ਨਹਿਰ ਵਿਵਾਦ ’ਤੇ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਲਈ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਬੈਠਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤਾਂ ਤਸਵੀਰ ਜਾਣੀ-ਪਛਾਣੀ ਲੱਗਦੀ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਨਤੀਜਾ ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਧੁੰਦਲਾ ਹੈ। ਅਦਾਲਤੀ ਹੁਕਮ ਲਟਕੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ, ਬੈਠਕਾਂ ਬੇਨਤੀਜਾ ਰਹਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਕਦੇ ਸਤਲੁਜ ਯਮੁਨਾ ਲਿੰਕ ਨੂੰ ਰੱਦ ਕਰਨ ਤਾਂ ਕਦੇ ਸ਼ਾਰਦਾ ਯਮੁਨਾ-ਸਤਲੁਜ ਲਿੰਕ ਵਰਗੇ ਵਿਕਲਪਾਂ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਤਾਂ ਕੀ ਇਹ ਨਵੀਂ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਚਿੰਤਾਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਹੱਲ ਲੱਭਣ ਦੀ ਸੱਚੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਚੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਮਜਬੂਤ ਮੌਕਾ ਦਿਖਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਹੋਰ ਇਕ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਕਵਾਇਦ ? ਅਤੇ 2027 ਨੇੜੇ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ, ਕੀ ਸਤਲੁਜ ਯਮੁਨਾ ਲਿੰਕ ਹੱਲਯੋਗ ਨੀਤੀ ਮੁੱਦੇ ਦੀ ਥਾਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਮੁੜ-ਮੁੜ ਉੱਠਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਮਸਲਾ ਬਣਦਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ?
