ਜਿਵੇਂ-ਜਿਵੇਂ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੌਲੀ-ਹੌਲੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਕੜ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਦੀਪਕ ਤਲਵਾੜ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਧ ਦਿੱਖ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਚਿਹਰੇ ਵਜੋਂ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਬਾਘਾ ਪੁਰਾਣਾ ਉਹ ਹਲਕਾ ਹੈ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਅਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਕੋਈ ਵੱਡਾ ਅਸਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਛੱਡ ਸਕੀ, ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਨਾਂਮਾਤਰ ਹਾਜ਼ਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਵੱਧ ਕੇ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਦੀ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਦੇਣਾ ਹੀ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤੀ ਦੀ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ।
