Is economic interdependence failing to translate into strategic trust?
Parminder Singh Dhindsa says Panthic unity can only happen under the guidance of the Akal Takht and demands long-pending SGPC elections. Yet he is also leading a breakaway Akali faction, registering a new party, and drawing up a separate political roadmap. This contradiction invites an old saying: " the rope is burnt, but the strength remains." If Panthic unity is truly the priority, why deepen divisions by building another Akali platform ? Is this about restoring Sikh institutions or about reclaiming political relevance by wrapping ambition in the language of unity ?
