Now, with visible ground presence, high-energy rallies, and sharp attacks on the AAP Government, Majithia is once again trying to build momentum ahead of 2027. However, his loss from Amritsar East and ongoing legal challenges still linger in public memory. As 2027 approaches, the key question is, will Bikram Singh Majithia return to Majitha to reclaim his traditional stronghold, or take another shot from Amritsar East ? And more importantly, are his rallies and aggressive positioning enough to translate into votes, or has the political ground shifted more than it seems ?

Punjab’s healthcare system is now under visible strain as nurses launch an indefinite strike over grade pay, leaving hospitals in Patiala, Amritsar, and Mohali struggling to function smoothly. Operation theatres, wards, and routine care are all being affected, but the bigger question is, where is the urgency from those in charge ? While frontline workers say they’ve been raising this issue for years, the response from the Government, especially the Health Minister, seems slow and reactive. So when nurses are on strike, patients are waiting, and hospitals are stretched, should the focus be on blaming the protest, or questioning why things were allowed to reach this point in the first place ? And more importantly, is the Health Minister managing a crisis, or simply reacting after the damage is already done ?
