As days will progress, pollution cases in Delhi will continue to increase, and various vested interests will start a campaign to shift the blame to farmers. Currently, the Air Quality Index for Delhi, Faridabad, Gurugram, and Noida is already at alarming levels. Although very little paddy has been procured from Punjab so far, historical data from this period in previous years shows that the blame game against farmers was already on.
