Bharat Bhushan Ashu has always looked like one of Punjab Congress’s most aggressive and street style political fighters, loud attacks, strong confidence, constant visibility, and the ability to stay in headlines whether Congress is winning or collapsing. But between corruption allegations, jail phases, faction battles inside Congress, and repeated political drama, Ashu’s image today feels like a mix of survival instinct and nonstop controversy. Even after setbacks, he still carries the energy of a leader who refuses to politically disappear. The real question now is, does Ashu still look like a serious Congress comeback face in Punjab, or has his politics slowly become bigger in controversy than credibility ?
भारत भूषण आशु हमेशा पंजाब कांग्रेस के सबसे आक्रामक और सड़क शैली वाले राजनीतिक लड़ाकों में गिने जाते रहे हैं, तेज हमले, जबरदस्त आत्मविश्वास, लगातार चर्चा में रहना, और कांग्रेस के जीतने या टूटने दोनों हालात में सुर्खियों में बने रहने की कला। लेकिन भ्रष्टाचार के आरोपों, जेल के दौर, कांग्रेस के भीतर गुटबाज़ी और लगातार राजनीतिक विवादों के बीच आज आशु की छवि राजनीतिक सर्वाइवल और विवादों का मिश्रण बन चुकी है। झटकों के बाद भी उनमें आज तक ऐसा नेता वाला जोश दिखता है जो राजनीति से गायब होने को तैयार नहीं। असली सवाल अब यह है, क्या आशु आज भी पंजाब में कांग्रेस की वापसी का गंभीर चेहरा लगते हैं, या उनकी राजनीति धीरे धीरे विश्वसनीयता से ज्यादा विवादों की पहचान बन चुकी है ?
Punjab Congress has always produced leaders who spend as much time fighting inside the party as fighting elections outside it, and Kushaldeep Singh “Kikki” Dhillon seems to fit perfectly into that chaotic tradition. Aggressive style, faction battles, resignation drama, power-circle networking, and now ED pressure, Kikki has managed to stay in headlines even while Congress itself looks politically unstable in Punjab. Once projected as one of the party’s sharper young faces, he now looks caught between proving loyalty to Congress and proving his own individual relevance inside it. Is Kikki Dhillon still building himself as a serious future Congress player, or slowly becoming another example of Punjab Congress leaders exhausting themselves in internal wars more than public politics ?
