After finishing fourth in the 2022 Amritsar West election with just 8,999 votes, Amit Kumar of the BJP struggled to make even a basic impact in a seat dominated by AAP and Congress heavyweights. With the BJP still hunting for a reliable face in this constituency and local support for the party remaining limited, the big question now is, Can Amit Kumar even dream of becoming a serious contender in 2027, or will the BJP look beyond him yet again?
