Parampal Kaur Sidhu entered Punjab politics with quick visibility as an IAS-turned-politician and BJP’s 2024 Lok Sabha candidate from Bathinda against Harsimrat Kaur Badal. Though she did not win, the contest showed she is willing to fight high-profile battles. With administrative experience, public profile, and growing presence, she remains a name BJP could consider seriously for 2027. The big question now is whether BJP sees Parampal Kaur Sidhu as a strong face for Rampura Phul, or whether the constituency still needs a deeper local base before such a move.
