ਫਰੀਦਕੋਟ ਦੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਕੁਸ਼ਲਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਕਿੱਕੀ ਢਿੱਲੋਂ ਇਕ ਵਾਰ ਫਿਰ ਚਰਚਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ। ਇਨਫੋਰਸਮੈਂਟ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟੋਰੇਟ (ਈ.ਡੀ.) ਨੇ ਕਥਿਤ ਆਮਦਨ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਸੰਪਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਮਨੀ ਲਾਂਡਰਿੰਗ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਦੇ ਤਹਿਤ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਕਰੀਬ ਨੌਂ ਘੰਟੇ ਪੁੱਛਗਿੱਛ ਕੀਤੀ। ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ ਕਿੱਕੀ ਢਿੱਲੋਂ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਜਾਂਚ ਏਜੰਸੀ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਮੰਗੇ ਗਏ ਦਸਤਾਵੇਜ਼ ਮੁਹੱਈਆ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ 'ਤੇ ਪੂਰਾ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਹੈ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਅਜੇ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਅਧੀਨ ਹੈ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਮਰਥਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੰਨਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਦੋਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਦੋਸ਼ ਸਾਬਤ ਹੋਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ। ਜਾਂਚ ਜਾਰੀ ਰਹਿਣ ਦੇ ਦਰਮਿਆਨ ਇੱਕ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਸਵਾਲ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਆਗੂ ਦੀ ਸਾਖ ਦਾ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਜਾਂਚਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਦੋਸ਼ਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਫਿਰ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਦਾ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਹੀ ਅਸਲੀ ਕਸੌਟੀ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ? ਅਤੇ ਕੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਸਿਆਸਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੰਬੀਆਂ ਜਾਂਚਾਂ ਕਈ ਵਾਰ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਨਤੀਜਾ ਆਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਾ ਰੂਪ ਧਾਰ ਲੈਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ?
