2015 ਤੋਂ 2025 ਤੱਕ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਯਾਤਰਾਵਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਲੱਗਭਗ ₹762 ਕਰੋੜ ਖਰਚ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ। 2024 ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਖਰਚ ₹109 ਕਰੋੜ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧਦਾ 2025 ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਧ ਕੇ ਕਰੀਬ ₹175 ਕਰੋੜ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਗਿਆ। ਸਰਕਾਰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੌਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਗਲੋਬਲ ਕੂਟਨੀਤੀ, ਨਿਵੇਸ਼ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਛਵੀ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਜੋੜਦੀ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਵਧਦਾ ਖਰਚ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਇੱਕ ਨਵੀਂ ਚਰਚਾ ਨੂੰ ਜਨਮ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਜਿਵੇਂ-ਜਿਵੇਂ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਦੌਰਿਆਂ ’ਤੇ ਖਰਚ ਵਧ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਮੁੱਦਾ ਸਿਰਫ ਕੂਟਨੀਤੀ ਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ, ਸਗੋਂ ਤਰਜੀਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਤੀਜਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਬਣਦਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਕੀ ਇਹ ਉੱਚ-ਪੱਧਰੀ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਦੌਰੇ ਆਮ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਅਸਲ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਰਣਨੀਤਿਕ ਫਾਇਦੇ ਲਿਆ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਜਾਂ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਸਰਗਰਮੀ ਮਹਿੰਗੀ ਛਵੀ-ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਬਣ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ?
