Should there be an initiative to find out how many households have 2 domestic connections per household to get the benefit of the free government scheme?

An issue worth consideration is that, in the year 2022, announcements of 600 free units were in circulation, and 2 lakh 96 thousand new domestic consumers were added.
BJP leader Ravneet Singh Bittu has thrown a direct challenge to Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann, asking them to field all their 94 sitting MLAs again in the 2027 Punjab Assembly elections or stop calling the Aam Aadmi Party a “Kattar Imaandar” party. Arguing that honesty is not just about avoiding financial corruption but also about staying true to promises made to voters, Bittu suggested that dropping even one MLA would raise questions about the party’s own claim of uncompromising integrity. As Punjab moves closer to the 2027 elections, does this challenge place the AAP leadership in a tricky position where either decision, re-nominating all MLAs or replacing some, could open the door to political scrutiny ?
Punjab BJP President Sunil Kumar Jakhar has accused the ruling Aam Aadmi Party and the Congress of staging political “drama” inside the Punjab Assembly, alleging that their clashes are merely a coordinated act meant to distract people from real public issues. He also questioned the Government’s claims about earning ₹20,000 Crores annually from mining, pointing out that the actual revenue figures are far lower while illegal mining continues in the state. With such allegations of political theatrics and gaps between claims and reality, is Punjab’s Assembly debate turning into a stage for political spectacle rather than a serious forum to hold the Government accountable on issues like mining revenue, illegal extraction and long-pending legislation ?
