With door-to-door outreach across all 117 Assembly constituencies from October 6, a manifesto release planned for November 1, a statewide bus yatra from November 10, and a mega rally set for December 8, the Shiromani Akali Dal has laid out a packed campaign calendar. The party says it will seek public input on its manifesto and raise issues such as drugs, farming, jobs and law and order. But will an early start and a busy campaign schedule help the party build lasting public trust or will voters look for clear plans and proof of results beyond rallies and promises ?
