ਦਿਦਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਭੱਟੀ ਦੀ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਸਿੱਧੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹੀ। ਸਰਹਿੰਦ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਗੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਰਹੇ ਭੱਟੀ ਨੇ 2012 ਵਿੱਚ ਪੀਪਲਜ਼ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਆਫ਼ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਟਿਕਟ ‘ਤੇ ਫਤਿਹਗੜ੍ਹ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤੋਂ ਚੋਣ ਲੜੀ। ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਪਸ ਆਏ ਅਤੇ 2017 ਵਿੱਚ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਮੁੜ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਤਰੇ। 2022 ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਉਹ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਏ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਬਣੇ। ਹੁਣ ਫਤਿਹਗੜ੍ਹ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤੋਂ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਵਜੋਂ ਭੱਟੀ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਖਰੇ ਕਿਰਦਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। 2027 ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਨੇੜੇ ਆਉਂਦਿਆਂ ਸਵਾਲ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕੀ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਠਨਾਤਮਕ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨੂੰ ਚੋਣੀ ਦਾਅ ‘ਚ ਬਦਲਣ ਦੀ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਵਾਰ-ਵਾਰ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਬਦਲਣ ਦਾ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੰਮੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਦਾ ਚਿਹਰਾ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੁਕਾਵਟ ਬਣੇਗਾ ? ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਹਲਕੇ ਨੇ ਕਈ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਬਦਲਾਅ ਵੇਖੇ ਹਨ, ਕੀ ਇਸ ਵਾਰ ਤਜਰਬਾ ਨਿਰੰਤਰਤਾ ‘ਤੇ ਭਾਰੀ ਪਵੇਗਾ ?
