ਜਿਵੇਂ-ਜਿਵੇਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ 2027 ਵੱਲ ਵੱਧ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਕੋਲ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਦੀ ਤਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਘਾਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਖਦੀ, ਪਰ ਕੀ ਹੁਣ ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਪੈਰੋਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਘਾਟ ਪੈ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ? ਹਰ ਕੁਝ ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਚਰਚਾ ਸੰਗਠਨ ਨੂੰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ ਲੀਡਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਦੇ ਸਮੀਕਰਨਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਆ ਕੇ ਰੁਕ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ—ਕਦੇ ਚੰਨੀ ਕਾਰਡ, ਕਦੇ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਕਾਰਡ, ਕਦੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਕਾਰਡ, ਕਦੇ ਪੀ.ਪੀ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ., ਕਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦਾ ਚਿਹਰਾ, ਤੇ ਕਦੇ ਅਗਲੇ ਫੇਰਬਦਲ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ। ਹਰ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਆਗੂ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਏਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਭ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਇਹ ਅਹਿਸਾਸ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਹਾਈਕਮਾਨ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਬਦਲ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਇੱਛਾਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੰਤੁਲਨ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੱਗੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਜਦੋਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਇਕ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਦੀ ਉਡੀਕ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਕੀ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਇਹੀ ਤੈਅ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੁੱਝੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕੌਣ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਤੈਅ ਕਰੇ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਵੱਲ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਜਾਣਾ ਹੈ ? 2027 ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਦੁਵਿਧਾ ਕੀ ਹੈ ?
