ਭਾਰਤ ਭੂਸ਼ਣ ਆਸ਼ੂ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਆਕਰਮਕ ਅਤੇ ਸੜਕਾਂ ਵਾਲੀ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਨੇਤਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਿਣੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਤਿੱਖੇ ਹਮਲੇ, ਜ਼ਬਰਦਸਤ ਆਤਮਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ, ਹਰ ਸਮੇਂ ਚਰਚਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣਾ, ਅਤੇ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੇ ਜਿੱਤਣ ਜਾਂ ਡਿੱਗਣ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਹਾਲਾਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਸੁਰਖੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਣੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਦੀ ਕਲਾ। ਪਰ ਭ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਚਾਰ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ਾਂ, ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਦੇ ਦੌਰਾਂ, ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਅੰਦਰ ਧੜੇਬੰਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਵਿਵਾਦਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਅੱਜ ਆਸ਼ੂ ਦੀ ਛਵੀ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਬਚਾਅ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਵਾਦਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਿਲੇ ਜੁਲੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਾਂਗ ਬਣ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਹੈ। ਝਟਕਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਜ ਤੱਕ ਉਹੀ ਨੇਤਾ ਵਾਲੀ ਤੀਬਰਤਾ ਦਿੱਖਦੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਗਾਇਬ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਨਹੀਂ। ਅਸਲੀ ਸਵਾਲ ਹੁਣ ਇਹ ਹੈ, ਕੀ ਆਸ਼ੂ ਅੱਜ ਵੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੀ ਵਾਪਸੀ ਦਾ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਚਿਹਰਾ ਲੱਗਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਹੌਲੀ ਹੌਲੀ ਭਰੋਸੇ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਵਿਵਾਦਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਬਣਦੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ?
