ਸੁਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਧੀਮਾਨ 2017 ਵਿੱਚ ਅਮਰਗੜ੍ਹ ਤੋਂ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੇ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਬਣੇ ਸਨ। ਪਰ 2022 ਦੀ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਤੋਂ ਕੱਢ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਅਨਿਸ਼ਚਿਤ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਹੋ ਗਏ। ਹੁਣ 2027 ਵੱਲ ਵੇਖਦਿਆਂ ਸਵਾਲ ਮੁੜ ਖੜਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਕੀ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਇਕ ਵਾਰ ਫਿਰ ਅਮਰਗੜ੍ਹ ਤੋਂ ਸੁਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਧੀਮਾਨ ‘ਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਕਰੇਗੀ ਜਾਂ ਫਿਰ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਅਧਿਆਇ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੁੱਕ ਚੁੱਕਾ ਹੈ ? ਅਤੇ ਜੇ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਟਿਕਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਦੀ, ਤਾਂ ਕੀ ਉਹ 2027 ਵਿੱਚ ਆਜ਼ਾਦ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਚੋਣ ਲੜਨ ਦਾ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ ?
