Ravinder Singh Brahmpura, son of late Akali leader Ranjit Singh Brahmpura, comes from a strong Panthic political background. After being expelled from the Shiromani Akali Dal, he has now joined the Aam Aadmi Party. If Brahmpura’s roots are tied to Panthic politics, how does joining the Aam Aadmi Party fit with that identity, especially when Bhagwant Mann has faced strong censure from the Akal Takht ? Is this a shift in ideology or simply a shift in a political home ?

But after nearly five years in Government, the sharper question is: Is AAP asking Punjab to vote for its own record or scaring voters with what it says the Opposition might do ?
