The Aam Aadmi Party came to power in 2022 promising a different Punjab. Four years later, the Government faces pressure over jobs, farmer demands, employee protests, power supply and state finances. Recent reports show protests by employees and farmers, while Punjab is also dealing with a deepening power crisis. If AAP has delivered on many 2022 promises, why do so many old Punjab problems still remain politically explosive before 2027 ?
आम आदमी पार्टी 2022 में पंजाब को बदलने के वादे के साथ सत्ता में आई थी। चार साल बाद सरकार पर रोजगार, किसानों की मांगों, कर्मचारियों के विरोध, बिजली आपूर्ति और राज्य की वित्तीय स्थिति को लेकर दबाव है। हाल की खबरों में कर्मचारियों और किसानों के विरोध सामने आए हैं, जबकि पंजाब बिजली संकट से भी जूझ रहा है। अगर आम आदमी पार्टी ने 2022 के कई वादे पूरे किए हैं, तो 2027 से पहले पंजाब की इतनी पुरानी समस्याएं अब भी सियासी मुद्दा क्यों बनी हुई हैं ?
With less than six months before the 2027 Punjab polls, the Aam Aadmi Party Government is facing pressure from farmers, employees, rising fiscal demands and a drug crisis, while opposition parties are turning these issues into election weapons. The Government says it has delivered on its 2022 promises but the coming months could test whether those claims can withstand fresh demands, protests and questions over law and order. Can the Aam Aadmi Party turn its 2022 record into a campaign shield or could the unfinished battles over jobs, farmers, finances and drugs become its biggest political headache before 2027 ?
