The picture shows the bond between two cousins who are relishing the cold drink while attending a function in their youth when they were rookies to politics. Born just 17 days apart in July 1962 they are now approaching a significant milestone in few days as both turn 62.

It is now the time for Manpreet to stand next to his elder cousin Sukhbir, acknowledging the support he received from his Tayaji, Sardar Prakash Singh Badal, who paved his political path.

If Manpreet fails to openly support Sukhbir during this crucial time and ultimately repay his debt to his Tayaji’s family which is in a crisis, then history may record that all it takes is one generation to damage the empire created by their fathers.

Ironically, Akali leaders within his own party are aiming to damage him without realizing that their own charisma is insufficient to maintain unity after his removal as party leader.

Currently, there is speculation that Shiromani Akali Dal, once powerful, is now perceived as 'SAD' (Sadness), leaving many wondering who is responsible for its decline."

If Tohra couldn't do it, then as a CM Barnala could not do it either, so even though Longowal tried a shot and also loud mouth Ramoowalia with his powerful vocal cords on stages couldn't create any magic, then these over ambitious run of the mill leaders holding press conference and soliciting others to join the gang will die their own death after engineering a split in the Panthic party. 

What a suicidal act by the rebel Akali leadership who have joined hands together to take a shot at the opportunity they saw in their hallucinations.
