Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has urged the Centre to reopen the Sri Kartarpur Sahib Corridor, and the Punjab Vidhan Sabha has passed a resolution seeking regular access for Sikh devotees. C) Respond to Punjab’s resolution by raising the issue through formal diplomatic talks with Pakistan.

D) Build agreement across party lines and work with Pakistan to make regular access possible for Sikh devotees.

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕਰਤਾਰਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਲਾਂਘਾ ਮੁੜ ਖੋਲ੍ਹਣ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਸਿੱਖ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਲੂਆਂ ਲਈ ਨਿਯਮਤ ਆਵਾਜਾਈ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਮਤਾ ਪਾਸ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਮੰਗ ਨੇ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਨ ਦੇ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਆ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ, ਕੌਮੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਾਂ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਸੰਤੁਲਨ ਬਣਾਉਣਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮਤਾ ਪਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਬਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਕਰਤਾਰਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਲਾਂਘਾ ਮੁੜ ਖੋਲ੍ਹਣ ਬਾਰੇ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਫੈਸਲੇ ਦਾ ਆਧਾਰ ਕੀ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ? ਕੀ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਰਤ-ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਸਬੰਧਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜੋੜ ਕੇ ਦੇਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਇਸ ਮਸਲੇ ’ਤੇ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਪਾਰਟੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਯਤਨ ਕਰਨੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ ?
