Questions have been raised over the reported use of Punjab Government residences by political functionaries and leaders associated with the Aam Aadmi Party. Some occupants have disputed the allegations and provided personal reasons for their presence, while the wider dispute has raised questions about who can use official residences and under what rules. If government houses are public property, should the Government make their allotment, occupancy and authorisation rules fully transparent before 2027 ?

A) Publish complete allotment and occupancy details.

B) Clearly explain why political functionaries are staying in official residences.

C) Make the rules for using government property by political functionaries public.

D) If unauthorised occupation is established, recover the property and fix responsibility.

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਘਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਅਹੁਦੇਦਾਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਥਿਤ ਤੌਰ ’ਤੇ ਵਰਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਸਵਾਲ ਉਠੇ ਹਨ। ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੋਸ਼ਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਮੌਜੂਦਗੀ ਦੇ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਕਾਰਨ ਦੱਸੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਪੂਰੇ ਵਿਵਾਦ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਸਵਾਲ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਘਰ ਕੌਣ ਵਰਤ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕੀ ਨਿਯਮ ਹਨ। ਜੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਘਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਇਦਾਦ ਹਨ, ਤਾਂ ਕੀ 2027 ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਲਾਟਮੈਂਟ, ਕਬਜ਼ੇ ਅਤੇ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਨਿਯਮ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਜਨਤਕ ਕਰਨੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ ?
