Hardeep Singh Puri says the BJP will not ally with the Shiromani Akali Dal at present and that the old 22-seat formula is finished. Yet BJP leaders keep discussing what a future alliance would look like, including equal seat-sharing. If BJP has already put a full stop on the SAD alliance, why does it keep explaining the terms of an alliance that supposedly does not exist ? Is the door really closed or is BJP just keeping the “maybe” button within reach for 2027 ?

ਹਰਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਪੁਰੀ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਫਿਲਹਾਲ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਨਾਲ ਗਠਜੋੜ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਰਾਣਾ 22 ਸੀਟਾਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਫਾਰਮੂਲਾ ਵੀ ਖਤਮ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕਾ ਹੈ। ਫਿਰ ਵੀ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਠਜੋੜ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਸੀਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਵੰਡ ਬਾਰੇ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਜੇ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਨੇ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਨਾਲ ਗਠਜੋੜ ’ਤੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਪੂਰਨ ਵਿਰਾਮ ਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਗਠਜੋੜ ਦੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਰਤਾਂ ਵਾਰ-ਵਾਰ ਕਿਉਂ ਦੱਸ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਫਿਲਹਾਲ ਹੈ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ? ਕੀ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ਾ ਸੱਚਮੁੱਚ ਬੰਦ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਭਾਜਪਾ 2027 ਲਈ “ਸ਼ਾਇਦ” ਵਾਲਾ ਬਟਨ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੋਲ ਰੱਖ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ?

ਭਾਜਪਾ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੌਮੀ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਾ-ਮੁਕਤ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਨਾਲ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਤਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਰੈਲੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਤਰਾਵਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਪੂਰੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੱਖ ਤੌਰ ’ਤੇ ਉਠਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਚਿੰਤਾਵਾਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਤੱਕ ਸੀਮਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ।ਰੁਜ਼ਗਾਰ, ਖੇਤੀਬਾੜੀ, ਉਦਯੋਗ, ਪਰਵਾਸ, ਕਰਜ਼ਾ, ਪਾਣੀ ਅਤੇ ਪੇਂਡੂ ਅਰਥਵਿਵਸਥਾ ਵੀ ਵੱਡੇ ਮੁੱਦੇ ਹਨ। ਜੇ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਰ-ਵਾਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਭੇਜ ਕੇ ਉਹੀ ਨਸ਼ਾ-ਮੁਕਤ ਸੁਨੇਹਾ ਦੁਹਰਾਉਂਦੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਕੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਲਈ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਚੋਣ ਮੰਚ ਨੂੰ ਰੁੱਝਿਆ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇਕ ਹੀ ਮੁੱਦਾ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਹੈ ?
