Sukhbir Singh Badal has repeatedly targeted Waris Punjab De, with much of the focus now falling on its leader Manpreet Singh Ayali. Ayali says the group draws strength from rural Punjab and youth, and that any alliance decision will be guided by the Sangat. For now, he has ruled out an alliance with the BJP. ਸੁਖਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਦਲ ਨੇ ‘ਵਾਰਿਸ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ’ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਵਾਰ-ਵਾਰ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਜ਼ਾਹਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਹੁਣ ਧਿਆਨ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਯਾਲੀ ’ਤੇ ਵੀ ਹੈ। ਅਯਾਲੀ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਪੇਂਡੂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਅਤੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਤਾਕਤ ਮਿਲਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਗਠਜੋੜ ਦਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਸੰਗਤ ਦੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਫਿਲਹਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਗਠਜੋੜ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਸੰਭਾਵਿਤ ਗਠਜੋੜ ਦੀ ਚਰਚਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਇਕ ਹੋਰ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਸਮੀਕਰਨ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ: ਕੀ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਅਤੇ ‘ਵਾਰਿਸ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ’ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਕੋਈ ਸਮਝੌਤਾ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਵੋਟਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਮੀਕਰਨ ਬਦਲ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਖਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਦਲ ਲਈ ਇਸ ਧੜੇ ਨੂੰ ਨਜ਼ਰਅੰਦਾਜ਼ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੋਰ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ?
