ਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਯਾਲੀ ਦਾ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪੂਰੇ ਪੰਥ ਦਾ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਤੋਂ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਉਠ ਚੁੱਕਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ (ਵਾਰਿਸ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ) ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੇਤਰੀ ਸਿਆਸਤ ਦੀ ਖਾਲੀ ਥਾਂ ਭਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਤਮਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਵੱਧਦਾ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਕੀ ਅਯਾਲੀ ਬਾਦਲ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਨਾਰਾਜ਼ਗੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਵੋਟ ਬੈਂਕ ਮੰਨ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਅਸਲ ਚੁਣੌਤੀ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕੀ ਵਾਰਿਸ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਇਸ ਨਾਰਾਜ਼ਗੀ ਨੂੰ ਸੀਟਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦਲਣ ਲਈ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਸੰਗਠਨ, ਸਵੀਕਾਰਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਚੋਣ ਤਾਕਤ ਹੈ ? ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਸਿਆਸਤ ਬਦਲਣ ਦੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੱਡੇ ਦਾਅਵਿਆਂ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ, ਕੀ ਅਯਾਲੀ ਖੁਦ ਆਪਣੀ ਸੀਟ ਬਚਾ ਸਕਣਗੇ ?
