The Census schedule has effectively killed the talk of an early Punjab election, giving Congress, BJP, Shiromani Akali Dal and Aam Aadmi Party more breathing space before 2027. But extra time is a double-edged sword, parties can strengthen their game, or their internal cracks can become even harder to hide. Congress has its factional battles, BJP is still building its state wide machinery, Shiromani Akali Dal is struggling with unity and alliance uncertainty, while Aam Aadmi Party has a four-year governance record to defend. ਜਨਗਣਨਾ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਜਕ੍ਰਮ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਚਰਚਾ ਉਤੇ ਲਗਭਗ ਰੋਕ ਲਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ, ਭਾਜਪਾ, ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਅਤੇ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨੂੰ 2027 ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਲਈ ਵੱਧ ਸਮਾਂ ਮਿਲ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਵਾਧੂ ਸਮਾਂ ਦੋਧਾਰੀ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਹੈ, ਪਾਰਟੀਆਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਜਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਅੰਦਰੂਨੀ ਦਰਾਰਾਂ ਹੋਰ ਸਾਫ਼ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆ ਸਕਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਧੜੇਬੰਦੀ ਦੀ ਲੜਾਈ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ, ਭਾਜਪਾ ਅਜੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਸੂਬਾ ਪੱਧਰੀ ਸੰਗਠਨ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਇਕਜੁੱਟਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਗਠਜੋੜ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਅਸਮੰਜਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ, ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਚਾਰ ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਹਿਸਾਬ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਹੈ। 2027 ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲੇ ਇਸ ਵਾਧੂ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਸ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਫਾਇਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਡਰ ਹੈ ?
