The Punjab Congress has spent months debating its leadership, with Amarinder Singh Raja Warring’s continuation as PPCC Chief facing open resistance from several senior leaders. The latest Delhi meeting chaired by Rahul Gandhi has again put a possible PCC reshuffle on the table, while the party prepares for the 2027 Assembly elections. If Congress itself is signalling that a leadership reset may be needed, why is it taking so long to decide Raja Warring’s future ? Is the party fixing the Punjab Congress or just stretching the deadlock ?

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਕਈ ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਲੀਡਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਚਰਚਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਅਮਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਾਜਾ ਵੜਿੰਗ ਦੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਵਜੋਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਰਹਿਣ ਦਾ ਕਈ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹਾ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਰਾਹੁਲ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਗੀ ਹੇਠ ਹੋਈ ਹਾਲੀਆ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਇਕ ਵਾਰ ਫਿਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਬਦੀਲੀ ਦੀ ਚਰਚਾ ਤੇਜ਼ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਪਾਰਟੀ 2027 ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਜੇ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਖੁਦ ਲੀਡਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦਲਾਅ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਦਾ ਸੰਕੇਤ ਦੇ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਰਾਜਾ ਵੜਿੰਗ ਦੇ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਬਾਰੇ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਲੈਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਨ੍ਹੀਂ ਦੇਰੀ ਕਿਉਂ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ? ਕੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਨੂੰ ਠੀਕ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਖੜੋਤ ਨੂੰ ਲੰਮਾ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ?
