ਭਾਜਪਾ ਵੱਲੋਂ ‘ਨਸ਼ਾ ਮੁਕਤ ਪੰਜਾਬ’ ਯਾਤਰਾਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਪਨ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਰਨਾ ਮਹਿਜ਼ ਇਕ ਸੁਵਿਧਾਜਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਨਹੀਂ, ਸਗੋਂ ਇਕ ਸੋਚੀ-ਸਮਝੀ ਚੋਣ ਰਣਨੀਤੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਦੋਆਬੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀਆਂ 117 ਵਿੱਚੋਂ 23 ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਸੀਟਾਂ ਹਨ, ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡੀ ਐਸ.ਸੀ. ਆਬਾਦੀ, ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਐਨ.ਆਰ.ਆਈ. ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕ, ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦਾ ਸੰਗਠਨਾਤਮਕ ਆਧਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਡੇਰਾ ਸੱਚਖੰਡ ਬੱਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਹੈ। ਜਦੋਂ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਵਾਇਤੀ ਸ਼ਹਿਰੀ ਆਧਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਵੱਧਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਕੀ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਨੂੰ 2027 ਵਿੱਚ ਪੂਰੇ ਦੋਆਬੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡੀ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਪੈਠ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਵਜੋਂ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ?
