The BJP is looking to use its Haryana experience, grassroots organisation and booth-level strategy as it prepares for 2027. But Punjab has a very different political culture, rural mood and regional identity. Can the Poonia–Saini combination help the BJP repeat Haryana’s success in Punjab, or will Punjab demand a strategy of its own ?

ਸਤੀਸ਼ ਪੂਨੀਆ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਠਨਾਤਮਕ ਰਣਨੀਤੀ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਾਇਬ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੈਣੀ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੋਣ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਕਰ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ। ਭਾਜਪਾ 2027 ਦੀ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਦੇ ਤਜਰਬੇ, ਜ਼ਮੀਨੀ ਸੰਗਠਨ ਅਤੇ ਬੂਥ ਪੱਧਰ ਦੀ ਰਣਨੀਤੀ ਦਾ ਇਸਤੇਮਾਲ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਸੋਚ, ਪੇਂਡੂ ਮਾਹੌਲ ਅਤੇ ਖੇਤਰੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਤੋਂ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਵੱਖਰੀ ਹੈ। ਕੀ ਪੂਨੀਆ–ਸੈਣੀ ਦੀ ਜੋੜੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਵਰਗੀ ਕਾਮਯਾਬੀ ਦਿਵਾ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਲਈ ਵੱਖਰੀ ਰਣਨੀਤੀ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ?
