ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੋਟਰ ਸੂਚੀ ਦੀ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਗਹਿਰੀ ਸਮੀਖਿਆ (SIR) ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਪੂਰੀ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਆਪਣੇ ਵੋਟ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਲਈ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ, ਸਗੋਂ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਭਲਾਈ ਸਕੀਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਲਾਭ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਲਾਜ਼ਮੀ ਹੈ। ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਵੋਟਰ ਤਸਦੀਕ ਅਤੇ ਭਲਾਈ ਸਕੀਮਾਂ ਲਈ ਯੋਗਤਾ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆਵਾਂ ਹਨ, ਆਲੋਚਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੰਨਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੋੜ ਕੇ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਲਾਭਪਾਤਰੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੇਲੋੜਾ ਡਰ ਅਤੇ ਉਲਝਣ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦੀ ਹੈ। ਕੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਸੱਚਮੁੱਚ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਗਰੂਕ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਜਾਂ ਫਿਰ 2027 ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਭਲਾਈ ਸਕੀਮਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਵੋਟਰਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਅਸਿੱਧਾ ਦਬਾਅ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ?
