Punjab Congress was expected to emerge as the principal challenger to the AAP ahead of 2027. Instead, the spotlight remains firmly on its internal rebellion. With senior leaders openly uniting against Raja Warring and some reportedly declaring they would accept anyone as PPCC Chief except him, one uncomfortable question refuses to fade: Has Raja Warring become the biggest obstacle to the Congress's revival in Punjab ? If a party president cannot command the confidence of his own senior colleagues, how can he hope to inspire workers and voters across the state ?

2027 ਦੀਆਂ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇਬਾਜ਼ ਵਜੋਂ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਘੇਰਨ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਅੱਜ ਆਪਣੀ ਹੀ ਅੰਦਰੂਨੀ ਬਗਾਵਤ ਕਾਰਨ ਚਰਚਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ। ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਦਾ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਰਾਜਾ ਵੜਿੰਗ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਦਾ ਇਹ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਵਜੋਂ ਵੜਿੰਗ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰ ਹੈ, ਇਕ ਵੱਡਾ ਸਵਾਲ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ: ਕੀ ਰਾਜਾ ਵੜਿੰਗ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੀ ਵਾਪਸੀ ਦੇ ਰਾਹ ਦੀ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਰੁਕਾਵਟ ਬਣ ਗਏ ਹਨ ? ਜੇਕਰ ਇਕ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਦਾ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਿੱਤ ਸਕਦਾ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਵਰਕਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਜਿੱਤੇਗਾ ?
