ਜਿੱਥੇ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਪੂਰੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨੀ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਵਧਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਉੱਥੇ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਠਨਾਤਮਕ ਕਵਾਇਦ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁਨਰ ਉਤਥਾਨ ਲਈ ਕੋਈ ਠੋਸ ਰੋਡਮੈਪ ਪੇਸ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕੀ। ਅਜਿਹੇ ਹਾਲਾਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਧਿਰ ਲਈ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਮੌਕਾ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹਾ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਅਜਿਹੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਲਈ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਸਵਾਲ ਇਹ ਹੈ, ਕੀ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਧੜਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੰਡੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ ਸਾਰੇ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਇਕ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਵਿਕਲਪ ਪੇਸ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ? ਜੇ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਖਿੰਡਿਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੇ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਕੜ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹੇ, ਤਾਂ ਕੀ ਉਹ ਹਾਲੀਆ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਮੌਕਾ ਗਵਾ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ?
