ਪਿਛਲੇ ਕੁਝ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਸਰਗਰਮ ਪੰਥਕ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਹੱਦ ਤੱਕ ਦੂਰ ਰਹੀ। ਪਰ 2027 ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਟਕਰਾਅ ਤੇਜ਼ ਹੋਣ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ 15 ਵਿਧਾਇਕ, ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਹਾਈਕਮਾਂਡ ਦੀ ਰਸਮੀ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾਂ, ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਅੱਗੇ ਪੇਸ਼ ਹੋਏ। ਇਸੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਵੱਡੇ ਸੰਗਠਨਾਤਮਕ ਪੁਨਰਗਠਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਲੱਗੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਇਕ ਭਰੋਸੇਯੋਗ ਪੰਥਕ ਵਿਕਲਪ ਵਜੋਂ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਅਜਿਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡਾ ਸਵਾਲ ਇਹ ਹੈ: ਕੀ ਇਹ ਸਿਧਾਂਤਾਂ ਵੱਲ ਅਸਲ ਵਾਪਸੀ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਇਕ ਰਣਨੀਤਕ ਪੁਨਰ-ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ? ਕੀ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਨੇ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਪੁਨਰ-ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਪੁਨਰਜਾਗਰਣ ਸਮਝ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ?
