ਲਗਭਗ ਅੱਠ ਦਹਾਕਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਬਗਾਵਤਾਂ, ਧੜੇਬੰਦੀ, ਲੀਡਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਦੀਆਂ ਲੜਾਈਆਂ, ਦਲ-ਬਦਲ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਤਾ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਲੰਘਦੀ ਆ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਫਿਰ ਵੀ ਇਕ ਸਵਾਲ ਅੱਜ ਵੀ ਕਾਇਮ ਹੈ, ਕੀ ਆਪਸੀ ਖਿੱਚਤਾਣ ਹੀ ਹੁਣ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੀ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਪਰੰਪਰਾ ਬਣ ਗਈ ਹੈ ? 2027 ਨੇੜੇ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹੀ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਇਕ ਵਾਰ ਫਿਰ ਸੰਗਠਨ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਲਈ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਵਿਜ਼ਨ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ ਲੀਡਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਦੇ ਫ਼ਾਰਮੂਲਿਆਂ, ਜਾਤੀ ਸਮੀਕਰਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਧੜਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਿਆਸਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਧ ਉਲਝੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਜੇ ਹਰ ਚੋਣ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ "ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕੌਣ ਕਰੇਗਾ ?" ਨਾਲ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ, "ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੂੰ ਕਿੱਥੇ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ?" ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ, ਤਾਂ ਕੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਇਕ ਹੋਰ ਅੰਦਰੂਨੀ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਦੀ ? ਅੱਜ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਸੰਕਟ ਕੀ ਹੈ ?
