Punjab BJP's recent leadership changes are beginning to raise as many questions as answers. Days after Kewal Singh Dhillon's appointment as state chief sparked visible unease, senior leader and former IAS officer Jagmohan Singh Raju has stepped down as the party's general secretary. While Raju says he wants to focus on public causes, the timing has inevitably fuelled speculation. As BJP prepares for 2027, is the party busy expanding its base in Punjab, or accidentally expanding its list of disappointed leaders ?

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਏ ਹਾਲੀਆ ਲੀਡਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਬਦਲਾਅ ਜਿੰਨੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਦੇ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਸਵਾਲ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਕਰਦੇ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਕੇਵਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਢਿੱਲੋਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੂਬਾ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਬਣਾਏ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਈ ਹਲਚਲ ਦੇ ਦਰਮਿਆਨ, ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਆਗੂ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਆਈ.ਏ.ਐਸ. ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਜਗਮੋਹਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਾਜੂ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਜਨਰਲ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਅਹੁਦੇ ਤੋਂ ਅਸਤੀਫਾ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ ਰਾਜੂ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਹੁਣ ਲੋਕ ਹਿੱਤ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਦਿਆਂ 'ਤੇ ਧਿਆਨ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਅਸਤੀਫੇ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਨੇ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਚਰਚਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਤੇਜ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। 2027 ਦੀ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਕੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣਾ ਆਧਾਰ ਵਧਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਜਾਂ ਫਿਰ ਅਣਜਾਣੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾਰਾਜ਼ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਦੀ ਸੂਚੀ ਲੰਬੀ ਕਰਦੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ?
