'ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਮਾਵਾਂ ਧੀਆਂ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਯੋਜਨਾ' 2022 ਦੀਆਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਚਰਚਿਤ ਵਾਅਦਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇਕ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਲਗਭਗ ਚਾਰ ਸਾਲ ਬਾਅਦ ਵੀ ਇਹ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਅਜੇ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਾਗੂ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ। ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਪੜਾਅਵਾਰ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਜੁਲਾਈ 2026 ਤੋਂ ਡੀ.ਬੀ.ਟੀ. ਰਾਹੀਂ ਭੁਗਤਾਨ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਧਿਰ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਈ ਦੇਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਏਨੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਭਲਾਈ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਸਮੇਂ ਸਿਰ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾ ‘ਤੇ ਸਵਾਲ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਹਿਲਾਵਾਂ ਇਕ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਵੋਟਰ ਵਰਗ ਹਨ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਹੁਣ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇਕ ਭਲਾਈ ਸਕੀਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਗੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਕਸੌਟੀ ਵੀ ਬਣ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਹੈ। ਕੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ 2027 ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਚਰਚਿਤ ਚੋਣ ਗਾਰੰਟੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇਕ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਚਮੁੱਚ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰ ਸਕਣਗੇ, ਜਾਂ ਫਿਰ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਹੋਈ ਦੇਰੀ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਧਿਰ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਦਾਅਵੇ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਰੇਗੀ ਕਿ ਵਾਅਦਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਕਿਤੇ ਸੌਖਾ ਸੀ ?
