ਵੰਦਨਾ ਸਾਂਗਵਾਲ ਨੇ 2022 ਵਿੱਚ ਬੱਲੂਆਣਾ ਤੋਂ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਜਨਤਾ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਪ੍ਰਯੋਗ ਵਜੋਂ ਚੋਣ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਖੇਤੀਬਾੜੀ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਆਈ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ ਦੀ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਹੋਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਹਲਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੁਣੌਤੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਲੰਮੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੱਕ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ–ਅਕਾਲੀ ਸਮੀਕਰਨ ਹਾਵੀ ਰਹੇ। ਉਹ ਜਿੱਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕੇ, ਪਰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਦੂਜੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਚਰਚਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਬਣ ਗਏ। ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਵੇਂ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਦਾ ਦੂਜੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਆਉਣਾ ਕਦੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਦਾ ਸੰਕੇਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤੇ ਕਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਅਸਥਾਈ ਲਹਿਰ ਦੀ ਚੋਟੀ। ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਅਸਲ ਸਵਾਲ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕੀ ਉਸ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਗਠਨ, ਭਰੋਸੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਲ ਭਰ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨੀ ਹਾਜ਼ਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਅਗਲੀ ਚੋਣ ਵੱਲ ਵੱਧਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਵਾਲ ਇਹੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕੀ ਵੰਦਨਾ ਸਾਂਗਵਾਲ ਹੁਣ ਟਿਕਾਊ ਦਾਵੇਦਾਰ ਬਣ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ, ਜਾਂ 2022 ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਮਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਇਕ ਪਲ ਸੀ। ਕੀ ਸਾਂਗਵਾਲ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਬਣਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਜਾਂ ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਇੱਕ ਹੈਰਾਨੀਜਨਕ ਨਤੀਜੇ ਤੇ ਟਿਕੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ?
