ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਦਿਲਚਸਪ ਮੋੜ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਜਦੋਂ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨੇਬਾਜ਼ ਰਣਇੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਟਿੱਪਣੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਤਿੱਖਾ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਨਾ ਸਿਰਫ ਆਪਣੇ ਖੇਡ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕੀਤੀ, ਸਗੋਂ ਖੇਡ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀਆਂ ’ਤੇ ਹੋ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਟਿੱਪਣੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਪੱਧਰ ’ਤੇ ਵੀ ਸਵਾਲ ਖੜੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ। ਜਦੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਖਿਡਾਰੀ ਇਹ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ “ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਲੰਮਾ ਟਿਕਦਾ ਹੈ” ਅਤੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹੀ ਚੁਣੌਤੀ ਵੀ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਟਿੱਪਣੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧ ਕੇ ਭਰੋਸੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਹੁਣ ਅਸਲੀ ਸਵਾਲ ਇਹ ਹੈ, ਕੀ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੇ ਖੇਡ ਕਰੀਅਰ ’ਤੇ ਟਿੱਪਣੀ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜਾਂ ਇਹ ਘਟਨਾ ਇਹ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਆਲੋਚਨਾ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਲਕੀਰ ਧੁੰਦਲੀ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ?

A) ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕਿਰਿਆ ਖੇਡ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਖ ਰੱਖਣ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ।

B) ਇਹ ਦਿਖਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਟਿੱਪਣੀਆਂ ਕਈ ਵਾਰ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਆਧਾਰ ਦੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੀ ਭਰੋਸੇਯੋਗਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਪਹੁੰਚਾ ਸਕਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

C) ਇਹ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਦੇ ਪੱਧਰ ਅਤੇ ਤਰਜੀਹਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਸਵਾਲ ਖੜੇ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

D) ਇਹ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜਨਤਕ ਹਸਤੀਆਂ ਹੁਣ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਆਲੋਚਨਾ ਦਾ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਦੇ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
