ਪੰਜਾਬ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸੁਨੀਲ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਜਾਖੜ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਬਜਟ ਨੂੰ “ਗੁੰਮਰਾਹਕੁੰਨ” ਕਰਾਰ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਨੀਤੀਆਂ “ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀਆਂ ਜੜ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਖਾੜ ਸਕਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।” ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਵਾਲ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਕਿ ਜਦੋਂ ਰਾਜ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਵੱਡੇ ਕਰਜ਼ੇ ਹੇਠ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ₹1,000 ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਮਹੀਨਾ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਵਾਅਦਾ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰੇਗੀ। ਪਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੀ ਸੀਮਤ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਮੌਜੂਦਗੀ ਦੇ ਮੱਦੇਨਜ਼ਰ ਜਾਖੜ ਦੇ ਇਹ ਤਿੱਖੇ ਬਿਆਨ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਦੀ ਚਰਚਾ ਵੀ ਛੇੜ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਕੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਕੋਈ ਠੋਸ ਵਿਕਲਪਿਕ ਰੋਡਮੈਪ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਪਾਸੇ ਤੋਂ ਸਵਾਲ ਚੁੱਕ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
