ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਕੁੜੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਤਰੱਕੀ ਤਦ ਹੀ ਸੰਭਵ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਹਿਲਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਾਗੀਦਾਰੀ ਹੋਰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਹੋਵੇ। ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਨਿਯੁਕਤੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਵੇਂ ਮੌਕਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਦੀ ਨਵੀਂ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
