ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਦੀ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਨੀਤੀ ’ਤੇ ਤਿੱਖੀ ਅਲੋਚਨਾ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਸਵਾਲ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਕੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਰੂਸੀ ਤੇਲ ਖਰੀਦਣ ਵਰਗੇ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਹੁਣ ਵ੍ਹਾਈਟ ਹਾਊਸ ਤੋਂ “ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ” ਲੈਣੀ ਪੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਸੰਪ੍ਰਭੂਤਾ ’ਤੇ ਸਵਾਲ ਖੜੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਜਿੱਥੇ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਦੀ ਸੱਤਾਰੂੜ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਨੂੰ “ਵਿਸ਼ਵਗੁਰੂ” ਵਜੋਂ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉੱਥੇ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਜੇਹੇ ਹਲਾਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੇਸ਼ “ਵਿਸ਼ਵਚੇਲੇ” ਵਾਂਗ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ।
