ਰਵਨੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਿੱਟੂ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਪੌਤਰੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤੋਂ ਤਿੰਨ ਵਾਰ ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਰਹੇ। 2024 ਵਿੱਚ ਟਿਕਟਾਂ ਦੇ ਝਗੜਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਅੰਦਰਲੇ ਵਿਵਾਦਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਹ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਛੱਡ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋ ਗਏ। ਕੀ ਇਹ ਕਦਮ ਸਮਝਦਾਰੀ ਸੀ ਜਾਂ ਮੌਕਾਪਰਸਤੀ, ਇਹ ਸਵਾਲ ਬਣਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ? ਅਗਸਤ 2024 ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਜਸਥਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਰਾਜ ਸਭਾ ਸੀਟ ਮਿਲੀ। ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਰੇਲਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਫੂਡ ਪ੍ਰੋਸੈਸਿੰਗ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਜ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਲਈ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁੱਖ ਸਿੱਖ ਚਿਹਰਾ ਬਣ ਗਏ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਭਾਜਪਾ 2027 ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਸੀਟਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਇਕੱਲੇ ਚੋਣ ਲੜੇਗੀ। ਹੁਣ ਮੁੱਖ ਗੱਲ ਇਹ ਹੈ, ਕੀ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਦੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਅਤੇ ਅਹੁਦਾ 2027 ਦੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਚੋਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਮੀਨੀ ਹਕੀਕਤ ਬਣ ਸਕੇਗਾ ?
